About
Idaho Appliance Help is a free information site for homeowners in Idaho: the Treasure Valley, East Idaho, Southeast Idaho, the Magic Valley and the Wood River Valley. It explains appliance problems and error codes, lists local repair shops from public information, and shows official disposal fees and rules.
Who runs it
Idaho Appliance Help is run by Local Help Stations, a small network of local information sites. It is not a repair shop, does not send technicians, and has no affiliated shop in Idaho. Contact: call or text (385) 236-4141.
How facts are checked
- Fees and rules come only from official county and city pages, linked next to each fact and on the Sources page. If we cannot verify something, we leave it out.
- Error codes and troubleshooting steps are checked against manufacturer support pages, linked on each code page.
- No repair prices are published. Costs depend on the part and the shop, so we say "call for a quote".
How shops are listed
Shops are listed from public information only. No shop listed here has agreed to anything with this site; they are not partners and not paid placements. Ratings always show their source; blanks mean we have not verified them. Some shops are left off until we can confirm their details.
Repair requests
This site does not take repair requests yet. If that changes, requests will go only to local shops that have agreed in writing to receive them, and only with the homeowner's OK. See Privacy.
